POCUS360: Integrating Ultrasound Into Outpatient and Inpatient Care features Cleveland Clinic faculty presenting current techniques for using point-of-care ultrasound to support diagnosis, bedside assessment and procedural guidance across multiple clinical environments.
The program begins with ultrasound fundamentals—including waves, probes, scanning techniques, nomenclature and artifacts—before progressing into thyroid, gallbladder, renal, vascular, pulmonary and cardiac applications.
Learners also review ultrasound-guided joint injections, nerve blocks, thoracentesis, paracentesis, arthrocentesis, aspiration, peripheral IV placement and central venous access. Emergency and critical-care modules address FAST, shock evaluation and the RUSH examination.
